AIRTAXI-540 'Anne' Airliner

18.5k LonelyAustrianUhlan  2.0 years ago

One of the "old"(cockpit wise) airplanes I mentioned in last plane's description
going to be one or more of those before I move on to the new cockpit ones.

The AIRTAXI-540:

The 540 was built on the base of older AIRTAXI models and was made to be more efficient and to be able to operate from even smaller less equipped airports.
Having 3 powerful and efficient engines as well as strengthened wider Landing gear the 540 was perfect from operating out of airfields, smaller airports, and unpaved airports as it had a short landing and takeoff run as well as being sturdy enough to survive through many hard/bumpy landings and takeoffs.
A number of Airlines ordered and operated the 540 for a number of years, despite not being as widely operated as some of its counterparts, It was still fairly successful and continues flying with a small number of airlines to this day.

Controls:

Ag1- Right Engine
Ag2- Left Engine
Ag3- Centerline Engine
VTOL - Flaps
Trim - Trim
Brake- Air Brakes

please enjoy!

@CaribbeanAir @Brayden1981 Well, its based on the Yak-40, but yes I guess the 727 is the more famous narrow body tri-jet so that is understandable
