The F/A-5 is a multirole fighter jet. It excels in gun-only dogfighting, outmaneuvering AA missiles, and winning air races. It is extremely stable when doing low and slow CAS, and supersonic dogfights. It's design was influenced mostly by the Grumman F9F Panther, the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly, and the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot, as well as my own imagination.
