The X8 Cataphract saw extensive service in the years following the Dey Arrosian Mutiny of 2245. Having began service soley as an uparmed variant of the esteemed X7 High Speed Interceptor, the X8 took to it's own following countless air harassment and close air support engagements. Despite this, the X8 maintained excellent performance as a fighter craft, reaching top speeds of 485 mph at 23,000 ft, although fighter engagements were hardly at all common during the uprising. The craft continued to see service overseas in use by foreign allies of the Dey Argentian Republic, vindicating itself in the many conflicts of it's time.
