Yesterday morning at 5:06 AM, the USS Fortitude (BBHN-6) engaged a naval target using her new electromagnetic railgun main cannons at a range of 673 miles, surpassing every known record for the farthest a shell has ever been thrown. Back when she was scuttled in the Korean War, she was armed with 13x MK IV .50 caliber 16.5" cannons and countless AA guns. Now she is armed with 13x MK II .55 caliber 16.5" EMRG's, Six PHALANX CIWS, over 250 TLAM VLS cells, and other various arms. However, being that she is a superdreadnought, her original speed at trials topped out at 25.7 knots with a maximum range of 15,000NM at 17 knots. With her new A1B Nuclear Reactor installed, she can reach speeds of 37.3 knots and has unlimited range, at least until the reactor burns out.
@Jim1the1Squid ok
Keep in mind that the time capsule is not to be disturbed, and that the remaining three Fortitude class battleships are still in the USW Navy.
@TheFantasticTyphoon
