Strike Force Alpha Ground and Naval forces: what now you say?

Believe it or not, the Ground and Naval forces of the SFA are the most important division we had but are tremendously outclassed by the superior Air Force. With most of the forces relying on WW2 era to Cold War era equipment in so little quantities, they might collectively be a detachment of two battalions overall.

Ground forces were heavily integrated in the Air Force as the battle of the sky became more important because of the potential swift actions made. Heavily relying on the air transport created for the Air Force as well as the support roles of specialized forces are almost exclusively done by air.

Even worse for the Naval Forces. There only exists one dedicated prototype of a ship for the Naval forces. The rest of the 82 ships are small missile boats obtained through [ Redacted ] and salvage operations, and this one case for the SFAN AC 1 Naught, the only operational aircraft carrier dating back to pre-WW2 when America was experimenting with the idea of aircraft carriers.

—— Today ——

As the spending on the Air Force begins to reduce for other projects and whatnot, some of them are going into the spendings on modernizing the Ground and Naval Forces, as well as putting more manpower to the division. The first step is the Modernization Program for the ground forces. This includes the XMH-10 Hull, the XMT-10 Endurance, and planned Tank destroyer XDT-11 Reacher. Naval modernization are also in the plans but the administration office is... wild to say the least.

(TLDR: bloody hell im makin mor land and woter based thaings. Admin office being wild is a metaphor as me lyfe iz in a state of foch(155) (comment autoloader if you know what I referenced)in stressd from de tests)
