Alright, after a few hours of trial and error, I have isolated the issue that causes this plane to continuously drift to the right when on the ground.
It's the resizable wheel. When I changed the wheel to built-in landing gears, the problem was solved. I tried to retain the suspension and only change the wheels and it's still okay, so it's not the problem of suspension but the wheels.
As an reference, my earlier creation the VBL also had a problem of constantly drifting to one side.
Now the questions:
Is this common? and is there a way to solve it?
@z24zorpx4 but my wheel spins and keeps vibrating, and it keeps popping up every mod i download, and i can't enjoy that mod at 100%
if the wheel is vibrating, try adding mass.
@YourWife @spefyjerby in the end it was as simple as turning on all the suspensions and manual traction settings. The problem has been solved.
@YourWife I'll start with doing the suspension check, if that fails I'll upload it unlisted.
@spefyjerbf That's exactly what I am going to try next. I am thinking that wheels not having its own suspension (right now they rely on independent shocks) could be a problem.
i can diagnose it if you're willing to let me download it, I've seen landing gear issues like this before
It’s a very common issue that has annoyed me for a while. To fix it, try adjusting the suspension and/or traction of the wheel.
