Suggestion - Cargo Bays!

8,405 A3  5.0 years ago

Those who play SR2 will understand how cool it is to be able to use cargo bays. However, i believe it's one feature SP lacks. With customisable cargo bays, comes lower part count aircraft and it makes it easier to load weaponry instead of just plonking the bombs inside of a solid fuselage or nudging them inside.

Let me know what you think ;)

If you wanted a specifically shaped bay you could use the harder route (making your own bay with rotators etc) But the in game bays could be utilised by newer players with less experience, it would also be great for aircraft with already high part counts that way attention can be focused on other parts of the build. For example: hollow fuselages up until recently had to be made using smaller fuselage sections formed in ring, however, the devs released hollow fuselages recently. @Miniplanes

I agree that it would help lower the part count but I just don't think it would allow for as much customisation of the cargo bay as the handmade one would using rotator parts - say you wanted a very specifically shaped cargo bay it would be very hard to make.
