Recently SP has been acting up for me. Usually it runs perfectly fine. No lag or delays. Now it is starting to lag for long periods of time and take forever to load in game. Then the crashes. Oh my its crashed more than a drunken driver. It displays "too many heap sections" and a crash log file name. This isn't on just one build either. It does the same on other projects as well. Started last night but I suspected it was just tired and overheated. This morning its still doing the same thing. Help?
I've restarted my computer, uninstalled many mods, deleted downloaded files I downloaded recently, and etc. (it still does its crash and lag with SP being the only window open)

@MercuryCorporation Yeah, I use windows. it ended up being specific build being bugged and corrupt. I deleted it.

@randomusername Nope, didnt work. I'm gonna delete all aircraft files (cause the important ones are already on the site) and delete any suspected causes of this.

by lag burst, I mean the game is frozen from 5-30 seconds.

unfortunately, the performance monitor isn't working properly for some odd reason. I can only describe what happens. random lag bursts when doing different functions (placing parts, moving vehicle, etc.) and long loading times when trying to load in a vehicle to the world. The game struggles to load in vehicles to the spawn areas and to exit back to the building section. When I try to restart the game and reset the map, it just lags out and crashes. Then comes the note "too many heap sections." I have restarted everything, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.
How is the performance of the pc when you run the game? (CPU, hard disk)
