On a morning patrol, a Jet test 57 aircraft armed with four Inferno missiles sighted a fleet including two destroyers and an escort carrier, the aircraft engaged the first destroyer was sunk using up all the missiles but whilst flying over the second destroyer the aircraft was hit by flak, and attempted to ditch, and ditched successfully. We can not identify the forces, but will try and sink them all.
