Unable to Post to Steam Workshop

When attempting to upload a mod to the Steam Workshop, I always get the same message:

  • Item Update Failed. Result: k_EResultLimitExceeded

From a quick google search, this means that my preview image (thumbnail) was too big, but it wasn't. In terms of file size, it was less than the other preview images of mods that I had previously published. In fact, the .previewimage file generated by the mod tools was only 79Kb.

I have tried it in both png and jpg formats. Both failed. After around 1.5 hours of trying to find a solution, I give up.

Is there anything that I may have overlooked?

@spefyjerbf Good evening/afternoon/morning, spefyjerbf. Sorry for my late response. Have you tried a debugger? I am not good at writing scripts as I am a newbie at it but, I was surfing through the web and found this website. I have run it through virtual machine and is safe to open; I hope this helps: https://www.shellcheck.net/ Tell me if it helped!

@Dakotaraptor The mod does have a script, so that may be causing the problem. What kinds of things should I be looking for?

Have you checked the scripts of your mod? It could possibly be the problem

Maybe it has something to do with the mod itself
