I've an idea...

I'm thinking of doing an alternate history of WW2 story-thing at some point in the near future, and I want to know if people want to see it or not (or are just not bothered either way).

I'm thinking to have the story governed slightly by you guys but for the most part I will be doing the lore.

Right first of all, at what point should the history alternate?:

A - Battle of Britain - 1940
B - Outside Moscow - 1941
C - Germans pushed back to the fatherland - 1945
D - Battle of Berlin - 1945
E - Normandy landings 1944

To make it easier you can just vote A, B, C, D or E. I'm looking forward to seeing your votes, thanks :)

They would have probably made a bomb then could have considered nuclear energy@Datom

Again, doubting Hitler would greenlight anything nuclear, but it's possible outside a wartime situation. Maybe for sakes of story, Hitler was okay with science fiction.

Yes plus the Soviet morale would GO WAY down knowing they have lost Moscow and some of their greatest engineers and designers and a couple factories @Datom

@ThePrototype @MrVaultech good points however do you not think the Nazis would have used it for power for weapons as opposed to actual bombs?
And I'm suggesting Moscow as it eliminates the communists in the east (mostly) and would be a real target as the Nazis hated the communists.

I really doubt the Germans would pursue nuclear weaponry during a wartime situation. Hitler himself stated (somewhere) that nuclear weapons "were science fiction" while directing resources away to other, more tested super weapons like the Maus and E series.

The Germans would have had an atom bomb ready by 1946 @Datom

@MrVaultech true dat. Erm... what about experiments? Do you think the Nazis would do experiments with pilots on potentially nuclear planes? Or maybe even the Atom bomb as that was a real possibility because they were racing with the Americans for the bomb... and if so which city? I'm thinking maybe Moscow to eliminate the eastern front?

As much fun as Wolfenstein tech would be, realism would be appreciated. It would be easier to keep up with a tech tree and explaining than super advanced wolf robots
