Tiltrotor help

495 Kimwonbae12  6.6 years ago

I've been trying to make a tiltrotor ever since i started building on SP. I can never quite get the balance issues figured out and they either take off nose heavy or tail heavy or if i manage to get them in flight they pitch down as soon as i rotate the rotors (or fans) to the conventional position. Any suggestions?

Tap on the menu button tap on the button that has the three circles exit the menu and put a gyro on it and shift the weight until the red circle inthe middle

Yeah. But you may want to add another gyro@Kimwonbae12

Put it right over the CoG (red) the gyroscope is like an auto balance, but you can still move the plane with the controls. Just look at its settings.

    I’ll build a simple example in a bit. @Kimwonbae12

@Jengstrom Thank you. What exactly does the gyroscope help with? And where on the design would you put it?

Rotate them reeeeaaalllly slowly, and use a Gyro for takeoff.
