My word on the new damage system

It's absolutely incredible! No longer will planes just have to be more agile and more accurate to win a fight, and there's so many more aspects to building a good fighter, but at least in my own opinion, there's a few things that need a change.

  1. Smoke and flames from scaled parts: It doesn't make sense to have it distorted to the scale of the part, especially if that part is stretched more on one axis.

  2. Fuselage and wing damage: If I'm flying a large bomber, I'd think it would be difficult to break the entire wing in only a few shots, I understand that having them not take damage is basically the opposite that was accomplished by the new system, but I find it annoying that the entire plane will eventually blow up even though I was wanting some crash where engine and flap failure would be a problem

Other than that, I love this new system and the beta (Although a stock scaling tool would be amazing)

@MasterLobster Huh, I'll give that a shot, although I did discover a way to be immune from missile fire entirely...

@Flightsonic "A few" Have you tried covering a big plane's wing with a single unscaled fuselage piece? It takes more than 20 shots.

@MasterLobster I believe so, but either way, having a large section of fuselage/wing just vanish after taking a few shots is a little bit annoying

You know 2 is actually a think and large parts have a higher health, right?

it is possible to shoot a bomber wing in half in one or two shoots the me 262 had weaponry for such feets.
