You shoul keep trying but the one thing I hate about this piece is the amount of sporadic-ness that is caused by the clap and techno hi-hat. I play drums my self and I find that unless you have some sort of rhythm it doesn't sound as good as it should. My suggestion is add some rhythm to a new beat (one that is not sporadic) and test that one on this site as well.
