I've been craving some mad orbital madness, but I have a predicament. The DEVs have been working hard on SR2 for quite some time, but the original Simple Rockets is already out. I don't know if I should wait for SR2 to come out or go ahead and buy the first one now. I don't want to buy the first one just for the DEVs to announce its successor a day later.

without mods SR1 isn't that epic, at first its super fun but in the end its not
I've owned the original since 2013 (I think) and while it's fun, it can get a little monotonous. I haven't heard about SR2 yet, what's up with that? If it's going to be better I'd wait for it, though I still enjoy the original, I'll certainly be buying the new one.
