Signature Series Announcement (and Some Emotional Stuff)

After spending over two months gathering inspiration from dozens of real-life airplanes and hand-drawing plans for new aircraft, in-game construction is finally underway for 12 high-class, premium warplanes.

These planes will be divided into three groups: Fighters; the fast and nimble craft specialized in airkilling, Attackers; larger, heavier airplanes with assortments of ballistic air-to-ground weaponry, and the Bombers; elegant but deadly beasts that will be sized from large to ludicrous. Though fictional, these airplanes will be built to fit into (in my opinion) the golden age of air warfare, between 1940 and 1960.

Each airplane will be stocked with a custom cockpit and internal pilot cam, plus the complementary gunsight, if necessary. Depending on the crew count, more internal cams may also be added to display their points of view, whether they be gunners, navigators, bombardiers, etc. Each bomber will be equipped with an internal bomb bay and fully-functional bay doors.

I need to get a bit of a head start before beginning to release these, since I want to do so on a fixed schedule (which I will release soon), so I'm not quite ready to begin uploading them quite yet. But I will be keeping you all updated on my progress over the course of the next couple weeks.

But basically the point of all this is that I'm putting everything I've got into these airplanes. All the best inspirational material I've gathered will be poured into this one giant project, which will be dubbed my Signature Series. I'm dedicating it to all the users, active or inactive, that helped me either from the start or during my peak. These people were my friends, and served as fantastic symbols of the SimplePlanes community. And I want to do my very best to repay them in the spirit of this fun little game that brings us all together.

If you ask me the golden age for combat is 1914ish to about 1965 why so early? BIPLANES, why the sixties? JETS (WITHOUT MISSLES). And ya ww2 with the epicness and stuff

lol thanks a lot @Tully2001 I'll try my best not to go insane. I've got Spring Break from school next week, so I'll be using virtually all my free time to get this done.

just a little at the end, I guess @EliteIndustries1 it's as "emotional" as I'm going to get on the site, this isn't a therapy board, I just want to get my feelings out there because I think they're more relevant to my activity than usual right now
