(my kindle uses Amazon silk browser)
On my kindle, the website will just lock up sometimes. I can't do anything on the site, scroll, hit buttons, nothing. But my kindle isn't frozen, I can open my settings, type in the browser and all. . I have to go to a different website and then come back to simpleplanes. It only recently started doing this.

Yeah I use kindle fire too, but I have never had this problem. (I also have a pc that I can use to access the website, and chrome downloaded on my kindle fire)

I would recommend side-loading Google Chrome. Here are instructions on how to side-load.
