Kind of Nudging objects on iOS

607 TheDoodleBanger  7.2 years ago

I was messing up my plane for the Janky Planes challenge, when I edited the shape of one of my wings. The wing had a jet engine and multiple misses attached by pylons to the wing. When I moved the wing, the objects held their position in empty space, and maintained connection to the wing, similar to a nudged object. Is this already known? It can help iOS users to make floating objects without mods since we can't use mods.
Edit: i forgot to mention that the pylons were attached

Ok. I was wondering if someone figured it out before me @plane918273645

(Unbendible wings tend to work better)

To mess a creation up, just mirror it. c:

Now I can make builds with floating parts even though my PC is dead. I'm pretty excited@spefyjerbf

Nice, very useful for iOS users.

@TTHHSSSS @Alienbeef0421 Teh concept has been produced in one of my new posts. Check it out if you're still interested!

Sorry about the wait. I've done some testing, and discovered it is mirror supportive. It can also be used in a subassembly. I've made a post just now using the concept@spefyjerbf

When I'm on iOS, I generally use fuselages as scaffolding to move parts around, but that wing thing is very clever... does it work with mirroring?

[EDIT] as in, will the constraint stay when the aircraft is mirrored?

Resized, edited, they all mean the same in the mind of a doodlebanger @Alienbeef0421

You mean you resized the wing?
