I would like to see some clouds and I don't mean the super high altitude ones that you can never get to. I'm thinking like randomly genorated puffy clouds of different sizes that hang at multiple altitudes that make the sky less empty.
I think this detail could increase the realism of simple planes. What do you think?
@goboygo1 and the about the "ton of clouds"; the clouds automatically spawn in once in render distance. So theres really not many at the same time
@goboygo1 clouds can be made out of larger more fine particles. And can be coded to move out of the way when you fly through them. Also the farther away you are from particles in this game the less lag youll get. I detonated a nuke on wright island and even with that amount of particles i get no lag. Atleast when im far away from it.
@Visify @poenix 1 long smoke trial or more than one bomb at a time will crash my kindle fire HDX 7, equivalent to a bunch of clouds, also there would have to be a TON of clouds to cover the sky.
@goboygo1 No it wouldnt, Ive played so many games like this with realistic clouds and they all ran fine on my i3 potato. And if it somehow will then there will probably be a button to turn it off rite..
@WNP78 cool
I've considered it.
@goboygo1 it depends on how their coded like jet fighter five's clouds don't create any lag at all.
@Tully2001 hmm you mean they are just made up of one incorporeal piece? instead of particles.
lots of particles, (like smoke trails, bullet hits, etc.) can make the game lag or crash. adding clouds would make the game slow i think.
