Suggestion : Asymmetrical Detector

27.3k JovianPat  7.3 years ago

Just like the Drag View, it checks the plane and tells you if there is an asymmetrical part. So if the part on the left side is not the same as on the right (and vice versa), it will be coloured blue. If the part is the same, it will be coloured white.
This might be useful if your plane cannot be mirrored properly due to bugs, small details, nudged parts, or modded parts. You can simply mirror the marked parts one by one (or multi-select mirror, why not).

Just use the x-ray mod, it shouldn't be too hard to spot a missing/extra part

@BogdanX How? Can you tell me? :)

@EliteIndustries1 It might affect the plane if the plane is light enough, but not very noticeable. But some players just wanted their plane to be absolutely flawless, so a fix might help.

@BogdanX Yea...the editor isn't perfect, sometimes the part will just fall off after you mirror it to the other side. Attaching them can be a pain if you've just nudged them inside other things.

@BogdanX But the drag view is actually one of my favourite features in the game, so I used it as a reference :)

@BogdanX I know, but it doesn't tell you which part that causes it.
