you can make the fuselage smaller than normal; place the cockpit or landing gear, and then revert the fuselage size back to how it was before
i made the stupid mistake of buying it off the mac app store so i cant mod :( so i have to buy it again on steam

@Anshrew Yep, gives you x, y, and z rotation. It's a lot quicker than going to the xml to make, for example, a stealth plane.
@50Airworks does this let you rotate parts?
If you dont have SP on pc you can always clip them into other things. Id try to explain clipping but its hard to explain and im not that smart.

to nudge parts you hold shift and use W A S D Q E to control it
