Why Are My X Coordinates Off??

29.8k ChiChiWerx  7.4 years ago

I'm in the middle of a relitively complicated build and now my X coordinates are off! Even the cockpit is, apparently, off to one side, according to the X coords...but everything looks centered on the build platform. I've reloaded
The build, restarted the game and removed and replaced the cockpit on the fuse, all to no avail...any suggestions on how to fix this?

@Ephwurd Yes I do know FT movements are not ingame movements. I just used it up for scale :P

@Ephwurd yeah, I think you might have hit the nail on the head...I was using fine tuner when this cropped up. Like you, I'm frequently annoyed by the fact that "undo" doesn't only undo my fine tuner mistake, but also my previous three steps. I think I'm going to have to take some things apart with this build and put it back together...how in the world do some of these builders create works of art in only 2 or 3 days???

@Alienbeef0421 finetuner movements are not recorded as in-game movements, and yeah it's pretty annoying especially when you mess up a finetuning and when you press undo you go ten steps back

create a stand for your plane. the stand must be wider than the plane then exit -> enter the editor

The build will be centered to XZ=0, regardless of where your cockpit is.

    A bug, however...

When you undo, the whole craft moves
    backwards in 10 finetuner increments!
