I was thinking you could add stuff like Auto cannons, rotating turrets, and maybe some airbrakes you can add DIRECTLY to wings. maybe some tank treads. any more ideas?

pieces seperate instead of being destroyed most of the time
damaged pieces or engines leave smoke trails
