Every upvote are 15 points (2 points on forum) These are the points you need to obtain ranks: 101 to 1000 points Bronze 1001 to 5000 points Silver 5001 to 25000 points Gold 25001 to ∞ points Platinum
They show your rank. That's it. In order to give someone a spotlight, you need more points than them.
