Its kind of a stupid suggestion, but explosions and crashes are pretty lackluster currently, possibly make smoke fly out of the crash site? or make the plane not just lose its nose and bounce off the wall it crashed into? anything really, larger explosions that dont affect speed too much, or explosions that are different depending on fuel, dead weight, type of part ETC.
