Anyone else doing this?

I find I can reliably win the new car races by picking a nice slow and stable plane, and carefully flying through the rings instead of driving on the ground. It takes a steady hand, and a bit of skill, but I still kinda feel like a cheat now, lol.

Also, it made me discover that the chase cam works differently during those races, which is interesting.

@joeysellers Thanks for the compliment! The trick is slow planes between 100 and 200 mph with small wingspans, high-stability, and highly-responsive controls. Combine that with excellent piloting skills, and you're golden!

I tried to design the car races to make it nearly impossible for a plane to navigate through the rings, so if you were able to do so with a carefully designed plane, then you are an outside-the-box thinker who solved a problem in a non-conventional way.

Yes. It can still be considered cheating. But if you're okay with it, so am I, it's your game, and doesn't affect me at all.
I'm sure there will be rules against flying in the tournament. Probably be car engines only.

@Gestour If the game lets you do it, can it really be considered cheating?
Anyway, the devs would need to outlaw jets and props in tournaments to prevent it from becoming the metagame for ground races.

    Sounds a bit like cheating.
