W900L Sneak Peek

Currently working on something based on the Kenworth W900L from WalrusAircrafts.

Fixed the asymmetry, fixed some other things, gave it the real studio sleeper, gave it a grill guard and tractor tyres, gave it a new coupling that works more reliably and is more durable.

Working on a nice trailer with which you can pick up convoy vehicles without disabling them by taking them off the ground. The one in the pics sadly doesn't, but it works as far as the "get a convoy vehicle on a trailer and drive it around"-thing goes.

Walrus Sr. Here. Nice job, son. It is always great to see community members build upon each orher's designs.

@WalrusAircraft Sadly I had to scale it up to 1.5 times the size, otherwise it couldn't fit the convoy vehicles without the trailer looking completely oversized.

Dang looks great! Well then, to answer your question, it took me (Walrus Jr.) around 3 to 4 months to finish The exterior not to mention Sr's excellent dials which took around a week. But sadly I wasn't even still happy with the design. A lot of small things still bug me like the thickness of the grill. But despite all that I am glad this looks the way it looks and can't wait to take her for a spin!

@GriffithAir I don't know how long WalrusAircrafts worked on his design, but it's been a 3-4 day job fixing and improving it until now. The truck is completely finished and I'm now working on a new trailer design that should hopefully do the job by keeping some wheels of the convoy vehicles on the ground.
