@TheEpicLemur I believe I sent you a fix yesterday? And I don't know. I think trim only really works for mobile. However, you can XML mod VTOL as an input.

Nevermind, I have mostly fixed it. But one thing I've noticed on it is the trim does not work, do you know why? @Squirrel

How can I stop my plane from tilting forward? It's like a fighter so the main wings are large and rear based. The CoM, CoL, and CoT seem to be fine, it is very maneoverable but it tilts... So annoying@Squirrel should I do anything in particular with the airfoil?

@jfriss Just use for future reference then. All the stuff I mentioned below works on making the aircraft unstable as well as making it agile (the two go hand in hand). It's a bit of a balancing act as it can be impossible to fly if too unstable.

    • Place roll control surfaces at the edge of the wing/ as far as feasibly possible from the CoM
    • Place CoM as close as possible to CoL
    • Increase wing area to decrease wing loading
    • remove as much weight as possible to further reduce wing loading
    • Make wings anhedral or place them below the CoM
    • Place pitch controls as far away from the CoM as feasibly possible
    • Use larger control surfaces (although this reduces energy when performing manoeuvres)

CoM = Centre of Mass (red sphere)
CoL= Centre of Lift (Blue Sphere)

@jfriss Not sure about 1. But for 2, you could stick wings on top of each other.

Larger control surfaces and lower wing loading.
