Better braking?

Currently, the stock landing gear and air brakes don't seem to be effective in stopping larger aircraft. Has anyone else had issues with this?

@MechWARRIOR57 When landing, retract the gear. When taking off, have it out. The skis are excellent for landing, but bad for taking off.

@MechWARRIOR57 Takeoff in impossible, unless if you have abnormally large amounts of thrust. That is why I put some landing gears inder the skis. It's hard to explain the exact ski and landing gear configuration. You could look at the stratolab to see what exacly i am about to try to explain. I usually use large landing gear, that is mounted a little bit above the skis. The wheel of the landing gear goes through the skis.

@MechWARRIOR57 The skis are made of fuselage blocks. They should touch the ground. You have to be a little more gentle on landing, but fuselage block-skis can still take quite a beating.

Here's a really funny and fun way of making your plane come to a stop. You can use skis. If you want some proof that it works, you can check out my SPE Stratolab build

custom landing gear using the resize-able wheels makes better brakes
