I am having a lot of problems with fuselage blocks that are .25. Mainly trying to connect them together. And now my hinge joints aren't working when they are set to free spin.

@CyberDyneIndustries The hinge joint doesn't free spin, so if you set it to 0, then it's just a stiff joint. You can set it to 90 degrees and floppy and that's the closest you can do to get a free spin with the hinge joint.

Hinge joints don't support free spin. Only the Rotator and Small Rotator do.
