So I woke up this morning when my Mum came running into my room and said:" You won't believe what was just on the radio! Apparently there's this new Research ship in the British Navy, guess what it's called!" So I just mumbled: "no idea" And then, to my surprise, my Mum then said:" It's called RRS Boaty McBoatface!!!"
Seriously????? I later found out that the name was actually voted for by da people. That's why ya don't let some random people choose the name for a 200 million pound Research vessel. And, just for the LOLs, I decided to make a replica of it. Btw. If you don't believe me, just search "RRS Boaty McBoatface" in Google.

But yeah, as jsaret said, the poll isn't the final word on it. Strictly speaking, it was only for suggestions, and they can ignore it if they like. RRS David Attenborough is my choice for a sensible name, if we have to have one.
