Wheels, beta, polls, XML and drifting

Warning - wall of text ahead, please read a high amount of it because im in dire need of help of someone who knows about the wheels with xml
Heya. we all love the wheels am i right, despite their annoying constant change. i have been i have a few questions about these things.

i liked the wheels best in the first beta test. where they didnt drift absurdly on uneven terrain because of traction options, here im going to ask for answers and suggestions about these wheels.

typically, me being a W.o.T player on the hell-ish and looked-down-on Sea server. your taught, if you have a problem, complain about it on the forums. and nag nag nag about your selfish hurt.
aww does chundy down wundy need a bandaid

here im sadly doing something similar, but iv set up a poll which is at the bottom of this forum it regards your opinion on what beta phase was the wheels best at.

after preating this strawpoll, iv looked into xmling the wheels and iv found these values.

brakeTorque="50" slipForwardExtremum="10" slipForwardAsymptote="25" slipSidewaysExtremum="15" slipSidewaysAsymptote="25" tractionForward="0.6" tractionSideways="0.9" />

there are 4 options that start with slip, im wondering if i can harness their power and try and xml mod the wheels to be very grippy and steer correctly as i desire at all speeds. but i wonder if someone could first tell me in plain english what each one does. and if it will actually indeed help. i have played around with them shortly and noticed some better physics steering on my APC with a lower value, i was wondering (all in all) if anyone knows what i can do to have these wheels XMLed to turn closer and steer as closely to the first beta ones as possible.
thats all and thank you

    Those refer to Unity's wheel friction curve. So far as I know, the extremum is the point at which traction is broken, and the asymptote is the amount of grip you have after said traction is broken.

    Well even though the wheels in the first beta were great I believe the new ones are better since their realistic and convey a simulator style well. Who does a 180 hairpin turn without flying out the track? No one in real life thats what. Just learn to slow down a bit and apply power on the second half of the turn.
