Thanks so much to everyone who participated! It was quite a bit of work to conduct this challenge (I think it was the largest completed challenge on SimplePlanes, with 70 successors and over 2000 bonus points), but it was also a lot of fun to see everyone's planes battle it out! I was actually pretty surprised, too. @Allstar it's all about the turning radius of the plane. A propeller plane going 250 mph with the same agility as a jet going 500 is gonna wind up on top because of the tighter radius. Yours did really well, though. Made it all the way to quarter finals (top 8) :)
Darn, and I thought mine was good. I'm surprised to find that most jets were beaten by more agile prop planes. I guess Turn n' Burn>Boom n' Zoom. Congrats to all the winners!
