Novia attacked Apollo 11 Outpost at the worst moment for Halfaxe. The Outpost was consisting of thirty men and women soldiers and guards and 12 construction members. The Outpost had yet to receive weapons of any sort besides the handguns on the guards. Novia attacked with force from the north, capturing the Outpost in minutes, killing half the guards and soldiers trying to defend. Everyone else was captured by Novian troops. The capture sent a ripple through the Halfaxe populous, and an outcry for revenge. Novia had a major boost in moral from the capture, and possibly a a negotiations tool against Halfaxe...

America is dead. Theirs no way to get in contact with the Moon. None of the bases or outposts have powerful enough radios or sensors to pick up frequencies from Earth, and any oil fields to create rocket fuel to get there were vaporized by fire.

I'm trying to keep it realistic. Cryo freezing would only be realized about the time Donald Trump would of died, plus nukes happened on Earth, so people are REALLY distrustful of nukes.
