so i wrote these two sections for the VCS Omni 7 build, and i kinda like these, although i feel like they switched topic too much. i wanna make an ARS wiki style section (example article), with some basic siren information such as:
- Introduction
- Models
- Design
- Locations (if possible)
so, how do i make a good fictional lore section without switching topic too much? i kinda got a reference of how it should go but i don't know how to do it properly.
@Boeing727200F put one of these on a train
@Graingy Using A Description Of Something There As Either An Inspiration For The "Template".
Example : Copy A Description Of A Vehicle/Company, Change All Of The Name(s) With Yours, Do An Adjustment With Your Lore (Perfecttly Works On Spin-Off / Knock-Off / Parody Vehicles And Companies. Like Me)
@nwa Not a bad idea. But how?
Hmm
Lore ?
Use Wikipedia-ish Style As An Alt Reference
@Velocity250 yeah that was mounted on some UP engines (DDA40X, SD35, SD40s along with a handful of other engines, all UP owned), though there is no known recordings of them being used. some of the engines do survive to this day in preservation or still working under UP.
@Boeing727200F Wacko shit
@Boeing727200F federal signal once made a thunderbolt 1003 for locomotives, but i think i can have my VCS counterpart later
@Boeing727200F okey
@Graingy don't forget the BALT, that thing isn't canon.
@Boeing727200F Oh.
I'm gonna need to go check that then to see what you're talking about.
@Graingy no like the YAH-2B's lore and the EB-53H's lore.
@Boeing727200F Like you tendency to eat live chickens?
Live it.
question as it seems your the siren guy I'm interested in mounting a siren as a horn for a locomotive (because why not?). which siren do you have will be good for that?
idk I just BS lore into existence, leading to some of the most DIABOLOCAL things known to man
