To all peoples of the Martorian Reich.
To all armed forces, on land, at sea and in the air.
To the international community.

Today, at a time when the world celebrates the birth of light, the government of the so-called Central Coastal State (CCS) has chosen darkness, chaos and its own destruction.

The Martorian Reich's ultimatum of 20 December, issued in the name of peace, sovereignty and international law, was met with contemptuous silence. The deadline has passed. No act of surrender, no request for negotiations, not even a formal response has been received.

With this act of cowardice and stupidity, the CCS did not simply ignore the will of the Empire. It openly trampled on its last chance for salvation, spat in the face of logic and reason, and proved once and for all that it understands only one language — the language of unbreakable force.

The Reich's patience has run out. The path of diplomacy is closed due to the fault of the CCS leadership.

Therefore,

I, Albert IX, Kaiser of the Martorian Reich, Supreme Commander of the Reichswehr, DECLARE that from this moment on, a state of war exists between the Martorian Reich and the Central Coastal State.

This war is a war of coercion to peace. Its goals are clear and unchanging:

1. Complete military defeat and unconditional surrender of the CCS armed forces.
2. Decapitation of the criminal regime and bringing its leadership to justice before the Imperial Tribunal.
3. Complete demilitarisation of the CCS territory.
4. Establishment of a Provisional Administrative Commission of the Reich to eliminate the consequences of aggression and restore the foundations of civilised statehood.

I Kaiser Albert IX order:

· The Reichsheer to cross the border and commence Operation WINTERGEWITTER (Winter Storm) to encircle and destroy enemy forces.
· The Reichsluftwaffe — to commence Operation EISENHAMMER (Iron Hammer) to gain complete air superiority and deliver kinetic strikes against key CCS military and government infrastructure.
· Reichsmarine — establish a complete naval blockade of the CCS coastline, Operation NORDLICHT (Northern Lights).

To the soldiers and officers of the CCS: Your leadership has doomed you to certain death. Those who lay down their arms and obey the orders of our troops will have their lives spared and will be treated in accordance with the laws of war. Those who resist will be destroyed without pity or mercy.

To the people of the CCS: The Reich is not at war with you, but with the clique of madmen who have seized power over you. We bring not enslavement, but order. Not vengeance, but justice. The removal of tyrants is our Christmas gift to you.
