The Fer-13A was developed by the Republic of Feron in 1435 by Feronish Aerospace Industries, serviced in 1437. It was made as a heavy interceptor, with Feron mastering supersonic jets and self-guiding missiles, and Feron got lucky, and got to call dibs on 3rd gen jets. However, Feron is not a big country, and it had to cut many corners on the jet, like it using way more steel than originally intended, and the radar being replaced with an older, and worse radar. It had gotten a chance to show itself in 1442, in the Jungazan-Feronish War, where the Fer-13A had absolutely REKT (I always wanted to use that word) the older Jungazan jets and the Jungazan JGA-50A heavy bombers. However, when Jungaza had modernized its airforce, with the JGA-50B and JGA-100A, the cracks in the Fer-13A's glory had showed, very much, with the Fer-13A's pristine K/D ratio getting flipped way to the D part. The Fer-13A had earned the nickname 'Hippo' by Jungaza due to how heavy it was, and its fate was to be replaced by the Fer-13G and the Fer-20, both were much better than the Fer-13A.
The Fer-13A had a whopping 16 hardpoints, and no gun (sad), and sometimes was called a flying missile truck because of this, and I sometimes call it a flying katyusha because of this fact.
