I want to make a mod

15.1k Cadvalto  yesterday

Hello comrades

As the title suggests, I plan to create my own Tools or Parts mod that can fix some of the shortcomings of SP players. For example, Stabilizer on tanks can be used multiple times.

About tanks, it's quite difficult to create an FT stabilizer tank. Actually, it could be done with a gyroscope, but it's not worth it. Tank stabilizers, especially on cannons, usually lift when the tank is going downhill or anything like that, and it will be difficult to lower.

The problem now is... It's hard to find tutorials for creating mod tools like that. Most of what I've found are tutorials for maps.

By the way, I haven't downloaded all the editors in Unity because... You know... My house doesn't have Wi-Fi and only relies on a very limited voucher quota.

By the way, if possible, I will make it for Android as well, but the regulations are very strict because the Play Store no longer uses 32-bit and has switched to 64-bit, which offers minimal mods for mobile users. IOS might be normal, but I'll find a loophole... If I can :p

Actually, this is still just an idea. I'm not sure if I'll really make it anytime soon, so I hope you guys don't expect me to actually make it.

@32 I only know some stuff about parts. I don't know anything past parts that are "self-contained" (no effect on other plane parts, just moving stuff within the part).

Making parts is similar to making maps, but I don't know the exact process. You need knowledge of Unity and such, and there's some scripting you have to do I believe. Making parts mods is NOT possible on Android or iOS, there are no loopholes. It's not that they switched to 64-bit, it's that the backend that used to allow scripting was 32-bit and is now deprecated. @PlaneFlightX might be the person to ask, they're probably the creator with the most experience making parts mods lol.
