SuperSonic119-Alpha1, nicknamed 'Target Enchanter', refers to a Steel-cased special 5.56 cartridge capable of armor piercing up to 791 meters while having more range/velocity due to more powder. The bullet itself is made from composite, the tip has been hollowed to accommodate a very small explosive filler, not enough to blow up stuff but enough to kill, incase the entire bullet didn't already kill the target.
By now, SS119-A1 is not standardized. Only fielded by one country, the THRC.
there were rumors of an SS220-C1 (SS119-A1 but more lethal/more Explosive filler) existing in the black market, however, as of now, there are no evidence leading to it's existence.
Pros:
1. Armor Piercing.
2. More velocity than regular 5.56.
3. +P by default.
4. Contains a very small amount of explosive in the bullet.
Cons:
1. There are very few companies that manufacture this cartridge.
2. Very high recoiling.
3. Rifles adapted to firing this cartridge, when firing regular 5.56, can have some issues.
4. It's 0.83 cents per bullet.
5. Not standardized.

If lighter means it doesn't have great stopping power nor AP capability.
If heavier, it does have stopping power and greater AP capability if accomodate by the bullet's core, minus it does increase recoil.

But saying composite core is enough but lack of information what it made of.

And it think small amount of explosive filler doesn't do anything, better be turn into Incendiary or tracer.
