im going to be doing updates on the situation on roblox to inform SP users who dont have roblox how fucking bad of a platform roblox is.
dont know that this is good or not but yeah, this happened.
roblox is a dying empire, if it even was at the state it was in before this.
i have watched 3 games in the span of less then a day die INSTANTLY after the update. and im also watching the slow downfall of many others. so many players are quitting. unfortunately for me, the games i was going to play if this update didnt happen are all dead. so im stuck playing another dying game called project caroid. im not willing to play anything new as all of the games i was willing to play are dead, dying, or unplayable. practically every single roblox youtuber that exists have posted a video saying how bad this update is. if you still havent done the age verification. DONT. TRUST ME DONT.

Ok so your game that has rampant pedophiles puts in actual working measures to stop said rampant pedophiles by limiting social interaction to people that are in the same age group as each other? Seems fine to me. Roblox is intended for little kids to play, 40% of their user base is under 13 after all and you’re what, 16? It’s not “dystopian”, it has no actual effect on your life unless you’re running a game that’s making you money somehow. Just play a different game, you have a computer. If it’s friends you’re after, add people on Steam. If it’s the fact that Roblox games are free, just play free games like Deadlock or Warframe or OSRS or something.

No but like seriously I think the game is like dead dead as I no longer see it in my “recently played” tab though I played it last time then a week ago.
@TheRLAF oh and I also forgot I played one of those “facility” games recently for nostalgia. If the restrictions didn’t go in I would still be playing it. I think you know why it’s dead.

@TheRLAF I was going to play more team based games. The smaller I used to play/was going to ones died out or are bleeding players as nobody can chat. The larger ones are unplayable for me as I can’t chat. And no I don’t like games as “they are not popular” the only game I’m willing to play (stated above) after the restrictions gets like less then 25 players on a good day.

This system, in theory, would be effective in stopping noncery
But the thing is
It's implelented abhorrently
It's less an effort to stop noncery, and more a way to shove AI into all our bungholes because shareholder money
So
If roblox used actual people for this (along with some extra stuff to ensure that it's your face) this could be the thing that saves roblox from the Island attendees (take a shot everytime I use a word/phrase instead of ped♡phile)

This whole "im not willing to play anything new as all of the games i was willing to play are dead" thing sounds really stupid (unless you play roleplay games that need people and in that case, most people that play roblox are not even capable of roleplaying, let alone with someone as much knowledge as you)
