Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

57.0k Boeing727200F  yesterday

MY SD70M NOT YOURS MINE
I GOT IT FAIR AND SQUARE FOR CHRISTMAS
funny enough this will be North American Aviation's first company owned wide cab (or American safety cab) equipped locomotive. its going to be doing some shunting around facilities dealing with flatcars loaded with aircraft parts.
oh and i got a bunch of other smaller stuff (in real life ofc) that i can be more preoccupied with!!! like for example 2 lego tank models (2 cobi tanks, one a cast hull M4A1 and a M46 Pershing) a poster of UP 4014 (the SD70M not big boy lmao), a new radio, a new iphone 17!?, 2 HO scale canadian GP9s (CN low nose and a Ontario northern chop nose GP9M) that i almost immediately patched over with a sharpie, some nerf bullets that i definitely needed and air pods, and a bunch of random generic stuff.

another thing i would like to say is i do not wish a merry Christmas to whoever uses this fucking thing from cursed tank simulator. i wish that your appendix will rupture.

and no it isnt because its festive its because it FLIES AND ITS TOO SMALL TO SHOOT DOWN AND THERES A BILLION OF THEM WITH FUCK YOU MISSLES I HATE HATE HATE THEM

@Boeing727200F Ahh. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration?
That's what Google turned up. Try to remember to explain acronyms, yeah?
It's like when you bring up some train thing, like a model or type or what have you. It's not that I'm not interested, it's that I literally don't know what it means so I can't follow along.
I still find the railroad incident mad funny ngl.
What exactly do you do "volunteering" on a railroad? Checking that things are where they're supposed to be? Making sure nobody has been snacking on the gravel?
The secret to being prepared for a storm power outage is candles. Like, drawers of candles.
    Drawers and drawers of candles.
    Buy more candles.
Buy more candles and put them in your room.
Put them in your room where you sleep.
Put the candles in your room where you sleep.
Put the candles next to your bed.

@Graingy the original radio used to sit on my desk always tuned to NOAA. didnt really use it as often but id just sometimes tune in for fun sometimes. im not a outdoorsy guy (excluding volunteering for the railroad i nearly got doxxed over i love it) but i guess it will come handy when the power gets cut in a storm.

@Boeing727200F Cool! I don't have either of those. What scale are they in? Any others in your collection? I have... lemme count... eight put together across a number of scales, one in progress since forever, two in the box (got last year), and one barely started since forever.
You do outdoorsy stuff? Or is it just a for-fun thing, like how some people get walkie-talkies to mess around with?
Maybe the old radio started whispering prophecies to him and he broke it out of fear... He certainly prophesized one thing correctly!
    Heh.

Lego tank? Or Cobi? Lego doesn't make tanks, but Cobi sure as hell does.
I still need to put together that Tiger...
What do you mean radio? Like a portable radio, or...? It's 2025 so I assume it does something specific. Hobby radio, even?
Poster sounds neat. I should buy a poster of something...
    Me?
I got a mattress I can't use, a lava lamp I can't drink, and a "Can I Lick It?" periodic table shirt I will neither wear nor obey.
I also got a mug with the Graingy logo on it. Unfortunately, getting official proved surprisingly difficult so instead it was some other business using a PNG who did a... not very good job. I'll have to post a picture.
As for others, I gifted my sibling $100* of underwear. The joke was it was in a large box filled with weights to seem more substantial!
Let me remind the masses, we are rocks.

    *Approx. $73 USD.
