Yea, this day was inevitable
Basically, I steal a LOT of stuff related to FT code, custom text stuff (radar screens andHUDs just to name a few), and things of that sorts
For example
The FT code I used for the CIWS on the upgraded TAE-II isn't mine (I'll like the maker in the comments)
The radar screen I use is from Eagle(excd)
And for a lot of the HUDs I use, I just steal them from random planes I download
And the reason I don't credit them, is because I forget who they are, and I mostly feel like it isn't that important, and people would be able to figure out that I didn't make that
But, I guess, I must come clean now, before someone beats me to it
@Hooha12
That's also pretty smart
But clanker🥀
for ALL my ft I just use google ai and it works (until it doesn't) but it's generally pretty useful, don't have to worry about credit or searching through builds

Nobody cares, that’s just part of SP. just credit the people.
@MarkTheDesignGuy
Great idea fr
@TheRLAF yeah sometimes i add a label saying something like "credit goes to ..." Or " special thanks to ... for this part". It's a neat visual gag but i do It mostly when It can be easily visible.
@MarkTheDesignGuy
Honestly, the label with the builder's name sounds really smart!
Yeah, I don't think that you're alone on this. Sometimes, I also take parts that need complex FT code to work. Although I also try to give credit when I can, either by stating it in the build's description or by placing a label with the builder's name on the part itself.
Idk why stealing FT would be a problem, ur definitely not the only one lol
Okay now put your pants back on, nobody wants to see that.
@ZealousKestrel
I'll most probably state which parts aren't mine from now on
Hmm?
Jsuk I snagged the HUD from one of your planes.
I think I told you but I can’t remember
its a whole different story if you blatantly take an entire plane, make no changes whatsoever (or make a few slight changes), remove the auto credit using XML, and then upload it as your own, which is where actual issues arise, but taking a few parts isnt bad as long as you provide credit or state that it isnt yours.
in my case, the Sentry is composed of parts from other planes, so i made a dedicated credits section. i mean, HUDs arent bad, basically every HUD ive seen is reused from a different plane.
if you can remember what you took it from then make sure to list it in credits, if you cant then list that as well.
