SimplePlanes has many sound effects, some more common than others. Some are stock, some... might not be? I'm not entirely sure.
In any case, not counting the OST, what are your most and least favourite sound effects?
Personally I rather dislike the sounds of engines - most sound so shrill. Meanwhile, a bunch of missiles being fired at once is rather satisfying... if extremely loud (especially in SP2).
I wish we could like change the locked and warning sound fx's it'll be really cool
@FartResidue Probably your speakers.
@Graingy Maybe I have bad speakers, but to me the new wing gun sounds like the lego assembly noise
@FartResidue I think I’m your opposite.
New one actually matches fire rate, and has more heft to it. Don’t forget, the wing gun is a ~63mm cannon, not a 7.62mm machine gun.
most favorite: old wing gun
least favorite: the new sp2 wing gun.
Love the wing gun sound.
Can't bear the prop engine sound
@YishFish42 ah
@Rb2h yeah
@Graingy yknow the one that isnt ww2 and isnt turboprop
When an engine's power in Overload is too high and it makes that loud looping noise
@WaterFlavouredSpitfires Don't say that.
The yeager/bandit bridge breaking is so tuff ngl
@Monarchii You still got eyes, mate.
@Graingy for the best. The rest is mid
@Graingy HUH?
@Monarchii Something you presumably lost long ago.
@Graingy what are eardrums
@Mrcooldude get creaked
idk
@Graingy hmm interesting…
@TheLoadingGorilla IIRC at least in SP1 giving a cannon a 0.0 second delay would make its fire rate dependent on world speed. That is, it'd fire faster in slow motion than it did with time sped up.
@Graingy yeah it never occurred to me until I was fiddling with a cannon that had 0.0 firing delay, and after I found out it could be changed with overload I just did that for anything I wanted to shoot/fire fast (which was literally everything lol)
@TheLoadingGorilla Somehow never occurred to me to try...
Granted, my single-rocket craze was years ago.
@Graingy yeah I just punch 0.0 into the overload
@TheLoadingGorilla That's possible?
@YishFish42 Which is normal?
