This is sort of a follow-up to a recent post I made, asking if there are ways to detect variables in-game. I didn't really get much from that post, so I've assumed that there is no easy way to do so. In SimplePlanes 2, could there be an option to transmit things like GS/TAS/IAS, Attitude, booleans of AG1-8 + Gear, input amount of Pitch, Roll, Yaw, etc.
I'm looking for funky trees information to be transmitted outside of SP at a feasible rate of I-Don't-Know-How-Much times per second. I.e., minecraft has 20 ticks per second.
I think it would be horribly laggy to have this as a default option, so potentially, could a setting named something like "Funky Tree Transmission" be added for Debug reasons in Settings?
It would be even better if there was a way only to grab what I needed from an API like this, i.e., if i want to mess around with a microcontroller to make glowy buttons for AG1-8, i would only want to grab the (True/False) of AG1-8.
Again, I apologise for being verbose. I'm extremely excited by projects right now, & I am trying to get ideas down onto paper at the same time as communicating to you guys, (the devs)
Sounds like it would be useful, although I have no idea whether it’s possible.
hmm
