Alright, so if y'all have been on the internet, you guys know about 67, and the hate surrounding it. But I'm gonna go out on a stretch, and say that 67, in an objective sense, and relative to other memes of its class and era, is good

Chapter one, in a vacuum

67 originally came from the song "doot doot" by Skrilla, and got, in my opinion, repopularized(I'd like to divide 67 into 2 eras, the 67 mango mustard era(started up by the song itself), and the 67 solo era(started by the kid)) by that one kid(you know who)
So, now we know where it's from, I'll be looking at it through an objective lens, and that lens says that this is a good meme, it's a reference to a song (at least back in the 67 mango mustard era) and has no real difference from me making references to SoaD or Iron maiden, so we shouldn't treat it as if it does. And yes, you could definitely say that people outside the artist's community using it is bad, but to those people, I say: would you not want a joke from your niche community getting popular?
Also, we have to consider what the meme consists of, which in the case of 67, is just 2 numbers. This already puts it above a lot of other memes of 2025, as it doesn't use AI, and is very simple.

Chapter 2: In relation to other memes

As I touched on in chapter one, 67 is on the better side of the mainstream 2025 memes, and I'd probably put it up there with low taper fade. And let me compare it to all the other number memes on the internet (69, 420, and 21)

67 to 69

I couldn't find much similarity here, they both have 6 I guess?

67 to 420

They're both from subcultures (67 from Skrilla, and 420 from the stoner culture) that escaped their previously mentioned subcultures, and into the mainstream internet

67 to 21

They both gained immense popularity from a random @ss kid saying them on a short form video app (Vine for 21, and TikTok for 67), and hot take here, I think that there's very little difference between the two, and the people who think that 21 is oh so much better than 67 are (in my opinion) super annoying, and a part of this whole new=bad thing going around on the internet recently, like just because 67 is from 2025 doesn't make it bad (tbf I could rant about this whole new=bad culture for hours, it pisses me off so much, and anyone who thinks that way is probably a super pretentious dbag that just can't get over the fact that a thing they like is getting old and a new thing is popular)

And for the "67 iS oVeRuSeD" claim, I'm gonna ask you this:
Is 69 not as, if not more overused?
Is 21 also not overused?
Because they are
and yes, 67's usage is a lot more concentrated, but.... Uhh... Sh8... Yeah that's actually a good point, f<3ck
But nonetheless

I think 67 is far from bad, and is probably up there with all the other number memes
