AND TO THE PEOPLES OF THE NEW LARDONIAN FEDERATORY EMPIRE
In this hour of deepest sorrow and gravest danger,
the New Lardonian Federatory Empire has suffered an irreparable loss:
the Head of State and Supreme Protector of the Lardonian peoples has been taken from us by the cowardly hand of assassins.
By the express and unanimous request of the surviving lawful institutions of the New Lardonian Federatory Empire.
I, Augustus XII,
by the Grace of God Kaiser of the Martorian Reich and its Dominions,
do hereby assume, with immediate effect,
the office of Imperial Regent of the New Lardonian Federatory Empire
until such time as a legitimate successor of Lardonian blood is enthroned or the Empire’s constitutional bodies, restored to full and unhindered function, decide otherwise.
All armed forces, civil authorities, and security services of the New Lardonian Federatory Empire are hereby placed under my direct command.
Martorian troops already stationed in Lardonia under existing agreements will immediately expand their protective deployment to all key cities, ports, and communication nodes for the sole purpose of guaranteeing public order and the uninterrupted functioning of the state.
Any attempt to exploit the present tragedy for separatist, revolutionary, or foreign-inspired ends will be crushed with the full might of the combined Martorian-Lardonian forces.
The purple-black flag shall fly alongside the banners of Lardonia until the storm has passed and the Empire stands secure once more.
The Regency will be exercised with justice, restraint, and iron resolve.
