Hey there! A teeny tiny update was just pushed out to the beta branches of SimplePlanes 1 on Steam and Google Play. The only change in this update is that we've updated the game to a newer version of Unity in order to address that pesky security vulnerability that was going around. We're not expecting the game to be any different, but if any of you in the beta branches experience any issues please let us know. Thanks!
Literally sp1 is getting more care than jno, if that happens im literally quitting this is just sad
@SimplyElegant still give us frequent hotfixes, theyll only spend like 5 mins on them lfmao
@PZLAgencies they’re working on SP2, so why’d they want to change projects?
GIVE US JUNO UPDATES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
at least sp1 is still getting minor updates :)
NOW JUST GIVE US JUNO UPDATES, THERES SO MANY BUGS THERE
@StockPlanesRemastered Perhaps you are right... In my memory, it seems that I haven't seen many single-player games that can cross the barriers and reach the markets on the other side of the earth. I only hope that one day the people of the two countries can eliminate unnecessary barriers
@SmallNoob No Because the US Government would throw a fit.
@StockPlanesRemastered I don't think so. We government don't like consumers paying directly to foreign manufacturers. Maybe jundroo could consider seeking cooperation and agency distribution with Chinese game platform manufacturers (just like codm).
@SmallNoob @tetozz It's not available on Google Play for the Chinese market due to weapons i believe
@tetozz We can easily obtain pirated resources, but when we want to support the genuine ones, there is no channel to express our support to jundroo
@SmallNoob wait, they don't have SP1 on mobile?
Please tell Andrew that at least a hundred thousand Chinese mobile phone players are eagerly awaiting the official release of the Android version of sp1
@SupremeDorian Hm. Well, at least it's fixed.
@Graingy A few months ago, Unity discovered a security vulnerability affecting pretty much all versions of Unity and therefore the games that run on them. Nobody exploited that vulnerability, but it could in theory allow some dangerous exploits to be performed as essentially malware, so a quick security patch was made to the engine for developers to update their games to.
the devs finally gave us a crumb
meaningless , unnecessary , not interesting
What vulnerability?
Video game
neato
hmm
neato
Kind of an interesting vulnerability, from what I’ve heard it basically meant if a malicious person could get files into a certain location the game could execute them under certain conditions. You could make a mod that puts malware into place there and then executes it for instance, which is the type of thing you aren’t allowed to do.
This is just the way I understand it, it sounds bad but it apparently would be quite difficult or even impossible to execute for most situations, hence why Jundroo didn’t patch this security vulnerability it for 2 months.
I assume this update is not for iOS, correct?
I have installed this version long time ago
Oh, is that was what that was all about? yeah, it's running a little smoother. the older version was starting to feel laggy and having lag coming in and out of window.
