On November 6th 2027 US Task Force Ripper was deployed of the coast of Wright Isles after about 2 hours a green light was given to launch operation Poseidons Trident a series of airstrikes on avalanche airbase and the infamous ice base the reason for it this massive operation was because Russian Forces successfully invaded the island and captured both bases and rather then send in ground forces the joint chiefs decided that it would better to just destroy the base approximately 12 sorties were launched from the USS Beast And USS Tiny causing massive losses for the Russians only 4 F/A-18's were damaged and made it back to the carrier after 8 days of airstrikes the Russians contacted the United States and a deal was struck the Russians would maintain a civilian presence and a few warships would be allowed to stay but they would be under command of the USS Beast and in exchange the Russians pull out of Ukraine and would be granted Crimea and permission to join nato and in an attempt to appease nato the US would send more equipment,ammo and weapons. Ukraines part of the deal was they would be granted nato membership and any Russian military members would be given amnesty for war crimes US naval Forces would maintain a presence near the area and in exchange Russians captured by the US and nato would be released and would be free to join back with Russia if they wished. The Russians agreed to the terms immediately as all they wanted was to not lose any more Forces. US Task Force Ripper was given orders to halt all offensive operations and was given word that the a deal was struck and Russian Forces and civilians were allowed to be on the islands after the deal was signed all US forces in the black sea and near the islands of wright were to stand down and shortly after all commanders and rear admiralswere ordered to allow Russian forces to remain under heavy watch once the Russians showed no signs of further incursion and aggression Us forces patrolled near the Wright islands Russians ships patrolled alongside them and shortly afterwards a new name was made for nato it was the United Front.
