I'm posting this here because the in-game bug report function didn't work for me. It kept demanding I attach a screenshot to it, but wouldn't let me do so. Also, the text box for it freezes a lot when you try to write into it. It does register all your inputs, though, it's just infuriating.
Anyway, the game starts to "jitter" badly specifically when the terrain quality is set to high and the resolution to 3840 x 2160, the highest my screen can do. It's odd, not quite lagging in a regular sense and the game's framerate stays high, instead it's very reminiscent of playing an online game with a high ping.
My computer can run the game's other aspects on very high quality and at such resolution no problem, but I can turn everything else to very low and terrain to high and it becomes unplayable because of this. The issue doesn't manifest when terrain is set to medium except if I go drive a car and disappears completly on low. If I set the resolution any lower than 3840 x 2160 the issue doesn't appear at all.
My computer's specs are:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) W-2155 CPU @ 3.30GHz (3.31 GHz)
32GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries But hey, atleast you got a dedicated graphics card, and not an integrated one
@dekanii Yeah it's an old work computer upgraded into a gaming pc by this local company that does stuff like this. Got it for significantly cheaper than a brand new equivalent.
Hm.. its only now I have heard someone used an Intel CPU that's mainly for server use.. for gaming
I’ve noticed this too, I get the same framerate running a 3500 part airliner vs one of the stock planes, and I only get lag when running in 4K with high terrain settings
My specs are i7-9700k and 1660ti
At 4K resolution I get 20-30fps , at 1440 I get 40-50ffps, and 1080 I get 60+ fps
