Royal Lasa News: This might be a gateway to the end of humanity

21.9k KorKaiorWhatever  8 days ago

Earlier this week, the RLGF, in cooperation with Merîkan and Magnets/Motors Co. have developed some sort of secret anti sattelite weapon.

But what differs it from the ones we have (Babylonian railguns, and maybe Rhistaka Artillery Railguns), is that it doesn't really shoot a physical projectile, apparently, it shoots magnetized particles to not only destroy sattelites, but also launch the debris (at least the magnetizable bits) far higher into orbit so that the afformentioned debris wouldn't hit other sattelites.

What has the people so concerned is that this could be used to take down the ANOSU (Anti Nuclear Orbital Strike Umbrella), the sattelite system put up by Baaland and Los to prohibit the excessive usage of nuclear weapons. The O.S.S. could simply be shot out without damagong any other sattelites. And without ANOSU, the use of nuclear weapons would be practically unregulated, and knowing how volatile this planet is to rip each other apart...

    Then who do we send 10 trillion dollars to? What its not like we can just get rid of it?

    The nuke rule is like one of the

    F U N D E M E N T A L

    Rules of the Duo World
    It was made back when it consisted of my little brother and his friends and was drawn in art class (the orbital strike wasn't there, it was originally "if you use more than 2 nukes we invade capital")
    It's one of the only reason the Duo world isn't on fire bc half of the members are literal psychopaths

    @SimplyElegant im not defending the rule. Im just stating that "just hack the multi billion dollar highly classified advanced ICBM thats specifically designed to not be hacked in any which way even so trillions it feels has been spent in it to not do so" is not sound logic. Also trying to keep a nuke in orbit.. Is LITERALLY the SAME thing a SATELLITE does. Buh just keep the nuke up there. How? Oh yk like a satellite...
    Love the logic here

    @SimplyElegant please do explain, how hacking a Saturn 5 rocket at its climax is possible.

    7 days ago
  • Profile image

    @LettuceRob119 (I didn’t say hit a satellite)
    Also the whole rule of “use more than two nukes you will get orbital strikes” is not bright (sorry) because space rock go smash on multi BILLION DOLLAR TECHNOLOGY and hit your country.

    @LettuceRob119 technically, hacking a Saturn 5 is possible.

    @SimplyElegant local man gets upset when other man uses free infinite knowledge, instead of classified documents and Russian propaganda sites. Lol
    Also a satellite defense system is very usable especially in a FICTIONAL WORLD, take the rods from God project, or whatever it was called. Just as devastating as a nuke, but no fallout. Just crazy expensive, thats the only reason its not feasible.
    Also no its a general rule of thumb, that you cant "hack" an ICBM. Its a MISSILE one that already knows where its going, before it even launches. Like ah yes "lemme just hack this Saturn 5 rocket" ahh logic 😭
    And a ICBM most definitely cannot go into space to hit a satellite, idk where you got that from. But your wrong. ICBMs are ment to... hit the ground.. hence INTER-CONTINENTAL Ballistic Missile. Most rockets and assumed icbms will probably not have a booster or the capability to actively fight earth's orbit (once in space and on its final trajectory) to hit the equivalent of a needle point in football field. If you want to take out a satellite, just use pre existing equipment that already exist that can. Not some hack ICBM whats the point of that? Also how would you do that? Please explain? And note the tone here isn't an attack, genuinely trying to educate, and learn myself. Though just to clarify and equivalent to what you just said was, "you shouldn't use airplanes because the could hack a guided bomb, and shoot the already flying aircraft down"
    Also sorry this is long, I dont mean to waste your time this much. Lol

    most rocks are flat and have a large surface area to skim
    most ICBMs are cylinder shaped

    I looked at a Quora article
    And Ik a tiny bit about orbit stuff
    You can't rlly get into a stable orbit with 1 burst tho
    You need one to get to the altitude
    Then turn
    Then another one to get into orbit
    And most ICBMs aren't designed to do that
    Also most ICBMs spread their load (don't tale that outta context)
    Nuclear ones usually have a bunch of shells in them that spread in the air
    So we'd havw to get it to not do that
    But they'd still probably detonate
    Also if it were to crash into the ocean
    The radiation from the shells would probably seep into the water overtime

    7 days ago
  • Profile image

    @KorKaiorWhatever or you can crash it into the ocean, and retrieve it.
    Also ‘Google?’ That’s for source?

    @SimplyElegant
    Google says the largest ones can reach orbit
    And they'd need a second stage to correct themselves into an orbit around the planet
    Meaning if an ICBM wasn't designed to reach orbit, it won't

    @KorKaiorWhatever they are.

    ICBMs aren't the only form of weapon launches
    Nukes could be dropped from bombers
    Also
    I don't think ICBMs are rlly capable of entering orbit
    So they'd just fall back down to the planet
